Brahmarpaṇam (Bhojana Shloka — Before Meals)
Brahmar-panam brahma havir brahmaagnau brahmanaa hutam
Brahmaiva tena gantavyam brahma-karma-samaadhinaa
ब्रह्मार्पणं ब्रह्म हविर्ब्रह्माग्नौ ब्रह्मणा हुतम्।
ब्रह्मैव तेन गन्तव्यं ब्रह्मकर्मसमाधिना॥
Brahman is the offering, Brahman is the oblation, poured by Brahman into the fire of Brahman. Brahman alone is to be reached by one who is absorbed in Brahman in action.
Brahma-arpaṇam = Brahman is the instrument; brahma haviḥ = Brahman is the offering; brahmāgnau = in the fire of Brahman; brahmaṇā hutam = offered by Brahman; brahma eva = Brahman alone; gantavyam = to be attained; brahma-karma-samādhinā = by one who sees Brahman in all action.
