Ut-tishtha ut-tishtha Go-vinda ut-tishtha Ga-ru-da-dhvaja
ut-tishtha Ka-ma-la-kanta trai-lok-yam man-ga-lam ku-ru
उत्तिष्ठ उत्तिष्ठ गोविन्द उत्तिष्ठ गरुडध्वज।
उत्तिष्ठ कमलाकान्त त्रैलोक्यं मङ्गलं कुरु॥
Arise, arise, O Govinda! Arise, O bearer of the Garuda flag! Arise, O beloved of Lakshmi! Bring auspiciousness to all three worlds.
Uttiṣṭha = arise; Govinda = name of Vishnu; Garuḍadhvaja = one whose flag bears Garuda; Kamalākānta = beloved of Kamala (Lakshmi); trailokya = three worlds; maṅgalam = auspiciousness; kuru = bestow.
Recited at Brahma Muhurta (about 96 minutes before sunrise) to begin the day auspiciously.
