Āvāhana — Invocation of the Deity
Om [name of deity] ihaagaccha iha tishtha
iha sannidhim kuru iha sanniru dhyasva
atra adhishthaanam kuru maam praseeda
ॐ [देवतायाः नाम] इहागच्छ इह तिष्ठ।
इह सन्निधिं कुरु इह सन्निरुध्यस्व।
अत्र अधिष्ठानं कुरु मां प्रसीद॥
O [name of deity], please come here and stay here. Establish your presence here. Make this your abode. Please be pleased with me.
āvāhana = invocation/calling; ihāgaccha = please come here; tiṣṭha = stay; sannidhiṃ kuru = establish presence; adhiṣṭhānaṃ kuru = make your abode here; prasīda = please be gracious.
