Aṅgulī Nyāsa — Finger Purification (Puja Preparation)
Om am angushtha-bhyaam namah
Om im tarjani-bhyaam namah
Om um madhyamaa-bhyaam namah
Om em anaamika-bhyaam namah
Om om kanishthikaa-bhyaam namah
Om ah kara-tala-kara-prishthaabhyaam namah
ॐ अं अंगुष्ठाभ्यां नमः।
ॐ इं तर्जनीभ्यां नमः।
ॐ उं मध्यमाभ्यां नमः।
ॐ एं अनामिकाभ्यां नमः।
ॐ ओं कनिष्ठिकाभ्यां नमः।
ॐ अः करतलकरपृष्ठाभ्यां नमः।
Salutation with the thumb. Salutation with the index finger. Salutation with the middle finger. Salutation with the ring finger. Salutation with the little finger. Salutation with the palm and back of hand. (Each purifying and consecrating the fingers for ritual action.)
