विद्यारंभ देवी सरस्वती के आशीर्वाद के साथ औपचारिक शिक्षा की शुरुआत का संस्कार है। बच्चा इस समारोह में पहले अक्षर लिखता है।
अवलोकन
Vidyarambham (literally "beginning of knowledge") is the ceremony that initiates a child into the world of learning. The child writes their first letters, usually "Om" or the first letter of the alphabet.
**Vijayadashami (Dussehra):**
On this day, thousands of children across India, especially in Kerala and South India, are initiated into education. It's considered the most auspicious day to start learning.
**The Ceremony:**
1. Child sits on parent's or guru's lap
2. Hand is guided to write letters
3. First written on rice/sand, then slate/paper
4. Saraswati puja performed
5. New books and educational items blessed
