The Self cannot be cut by weapons, burnt by fire, wetted by water, or dried by wind. It is eternal and beyond all suffering.
This too shall pass. Nothing in this world is permanent - not joy, not sorrow, not triumph, not defeat.
Tapas (discipline) burns away impurities and kindles the fire of knowledge. Through consistent practice, the impossible becomes possible.
