A child walking home from school saw an older gardener carrying too many water pots. Without being asked, the child helped carry two of them to the garden gate.
The gardener smiled and thanked the child warmly. A few days later, heavy rain began just as the child forgot an umbrella at school. The same gardener happened to pass by and shared a large umbrella all the way home.
Neither one had planned to help the other. But kindness had already made a path between them.
From that day, the child understood that good actions do not disappear. They stay in the world and often return when they are needed most.
