Om agnim dutam puro dadhe havyavaham upa bruve
devaam aasaadayaad iha
Shaantaa dyauh shaantaa prithivi shaantam idam urv-antariksha
Shaantaa udanvateer aapah shaantaa nah santv oshadheehi

देवाँ आसादयादिह॥
शान्ता द्यौः शान्ता पृथिवी शान्तमिदमुर्वन्तरिक्षम्।
शान्ता उदन्वतीरापः शान्ता नः सन्त्वोषधीः॥

Meaning

I place Agni (fire) as the messenger in front, invoking him as the carrier of oblations to bring the gods here. May the sky be at peace, the earth at peace, the vast midspace at peace, the waters at peace, the herbs and plants at peace.
