Meaning

At dawn I remember the Self shining in the heart — pure Being, Consciousness and Bliss, the fourth state, the goal of the liberated sage. That which witnesses waking, dream, and deep sleep eternally — that indivisible Brahman am I, not this cluster of elements.

When to Chant

Early morning as the first act of the day, for centering the mind in the Self.

Best Time: Morning, before any activity

Benefits
Establishes a meditative foundation for the day. Reminds the practitioner of their true nature.
