Pañca Bhūta Nyāsa — Five Elements Invocation
Om prithvee tvayaa-dhritaa lokaa devi tvam Vishnunaa dhritaa
Tvam cha dhaaraya maam devi pavitram kuru caaasanam
Om aapo hi shthaa mayo-bhuvah | Taa na uurje dadaathana
Mahe ranaaya chakshase | Yo vah shivata-mo rasah
Tasya bhaajayate hanah | Ushateer iva maatarah
Om Agni-jyotih | jyotir Agnih | svaahaaa
Om vaayus te praano rakshatu | aakashah sarvato rakshatu
ॐ पृथ्वी त्वयाधृता लोका देवि त्वं विष्णुना धृता।
त्वं च धारय मां देवि पवित्रं कुरु चासनम्॥
ॐ आपो हि ष्ठा मयोभुवः। ता न ऊर्जे दधातन।
महेरणाय चक्षसे। यो वः शिवतमो रसः।
तस्य भाजयते हनः। उशतीरिव मातरः॥
ॐ अग्निर्ज्योतिः। ज्योतिरग्निः। स्वाहा।
ॐ वायुस्ते प्राणो रक्षतु। आकाशः सर्वतोरक्षतु।
Earth: O Goddess Earth, you who are held by Vishnu — hold me too. Purify this seat. Water: You waters are the source of well-being. Grant us strength and great vision. The most blissful essence of yours — may we partake of it like loving mothers offering to us. Fire: Fire is light, light is fire — svaha! Air and Space: May the breath of Vayu protect you. May Space protect you on all sides.
