About Lord Rama

Lord Rama is the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu and the hero of the epic Ramayana. He is revered as Maryada Purushottam - the perfect man who lived by the highest ideals of dharma.

Born as the prince of Ayodhya, Rama's life exemplifies devotion to duty, righteousness, and sacrifice. His exile, rescue of Sita from Ravana, and just rule (Ram Rajya) are foundational stories of Hindu culture.

Rama is worshipped for righteous living, family harmony, and protection.

Symbolism & Iconography

Bow and arrow (Kodanda) represent protection of dharma. Green complexion represents connection to nature.
