About Goddess Durga

Goddess Durga is the fierce protective mother goddess, the embodiment of Shakti (divine feminine power). She was created from the combined energies of all gods to defeat the demon Mahishasura.

With her ten arms wielding divine weapons given by various gods, seated on a lion, she represents the triumph of good over evil. She is both fierce protector and loving mother.

Durga is worshipped for protection, courage, and victory over negative forces.
