Box Breathing for Focus

Box breathing uses equal counts to help attention gather. Keep the count modest and smooth rather than long and dramatic.

If any hold feels stressful, remove the hold and stay with equal inhale and exhale instead. The method should sharpen focus, not create agitation.

    Start with three or four counts, not eight.

  • Keep the face relaxed

    Focus comes from steadiness, not gripping.

  • End before strain

    Three rounds can be enough.
